LPD Investigate Possible Shot Fired This Morning at City Hall

(Lewiston, ID) The Lewiston Police Department (LPD) is actively investigating a report of a possible shot fired at City Hall at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024. 

The caller heard a loud noise, which they believed to be a gunshot, and upon inspecting the area outside, discovered a hole on the second floor of the building’s south side. LPD immediately responded to the scene. 

Preliminary findings suggest this was an isolated incident. There have been no additional reports of shots fired, property damage, or injuries. City Hall remains open for normal business.
