Men’s Track and Field Rated No. 19 Ahead of CCC Multi Championships

New Orleans, LA – The men of LC State Track and Field remained in the top 25 of the USTFCCCA Outdoor Track and Field Rating Index in the latest edition released on Wednesday. The Warriors earned 101.92 points in the index to sit at No. 19.

Christian Bothwell remained the team’s top point-getter (20.19) with his mark of 6,322 points in the decathlon. He ranks seventh in the NAIA and first in the Cascade Conference heading into the CCC Multi Championships this weekend. Nikolous Bertling is the highest-ranked Warrior in any event at sixth in the pole vault (4.80m). The 2022 All-American earned 20 points in the ratings.

New contributors to LC’s rating this week are Carter Gordon in the 800m (1:53.12) and the team of Ike Hopper, London Kirk, Justin Krabbenhoft and Gordon in the 4x400m (3:20.21). LC is ranked in the NAIA’s top 20 in both events.
