Michael Cady Appointed as Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioner

(Pullman, WA) Pullman Regional Hospital’s Board of Commissioners welcomes Michael Cady as the newest appointed member.

The position was previously held by Jeff Elbracht who served on the board for 18 years; his last day of service was January 5, 2025.

Cady was appointed and assumed the role of Pullman Regional Hospital Commissioner on February 5. To pursue a full 6-year term, Cady could run for the position in the November 2025 election.

A 10-year Pullman resident, Michael Cady is a Physical Therapist at the Schweitzer Engineering Labs Health Clinic. Prior to that, he was a Health Volunteer in the United States Peace Corps and served from 2017 to 2019 in Lesotho, Africa at a school for deaf and disabled children. While obtaining his doctorate in physical therapy, he attended school at Texas Woman’s University-Houston in Houston, TX. Cady is also a WSU alum, with study emphasis in Political Science and Pre-Physical Therapy.

“Although I have had unique travels, Pullman Regional Hospital has a special place in my heart and continues to stand out,” said Cady. “I have a vested interest in keeping us competitive in the healthcare landscape from pediatrics to geriatrics for the many years to come.”

The Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners, an elected body, is legally responsible for overseeing hospital district policies and organization with respect to the district’s operation, including the delivery of quality patient care and meeting community healthcare needs.
