MOSCOW — The Moscow Farmers Market returns for its 49th season on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, in Downtown Moscow. Vendors will be selling fresh produce, meat, baked goods, artisan wares, and original-recipe cuisine. The Market operates from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine, May through October.
Features of the 2024 Moscow Farmers Market season include:
• The return of $2 Bicycle Benefits tokens for patrons who bike to the Market, with a double payout available during May in honor of National Bike Month
• Monthly Power of Produce Club, June through September, for children ages five to twelve
• Expansion on E. 4th Street from the cul-de-sac to the alley with ten additional vendor spaces
• Nineteen scheduled live performances in Friendship Square
• National Farmers Market Week Celebration on August 10th
• Halloween Costume Contest on October 26th

Changes to Food Access Program
The Market’s longtime food access program, Shop The Market, is on pause until further notice. The program promotes the use of SNAP/EBT benefits on eligible purchases like fresh produce, eggs, meat, cheese, etc. City staff is seeking to establish a new partnership to implement and manage this essential service. Washington State Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program and Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) benefits are still welcome by select and authorized produce Vendors.

The Moscow Farmers Market is a pet-, nicotine-, and solicitation-free event. Only ADA service animals are welcome on main streets; all other animals are welcome on the sidewalks.
The mission of the Market is to celebrate life on the Palouse by providing the community with the opportunity to buy and sell local and regional agricultural products (e.g., crops, meat, cheese, wine, etc.), distinctive handmade goods, artisan pieces, and original-recipe cuisine. This venue is meant to encourage and support sustainable economic, social, and environmental practices.
