Motorcyclist Injured After Hitting Deer on US12

(Kamiah, ID) The Idaho State Police is investigating an injury crash that occurred on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at approximately 9:07 PM on US12 near the Lenore Rest Area. A 2021 Suzuki Motorcycle driven by a 53-year-old male from Kamiah, ID, was traveling westbound on US12 when the motorcycle stuck a deer. The rider was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance. The rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
