NEZ PERCE COUNTY– On April 22, 2023, Nez Perce County Dispatch received a text to 911 indicating there was an unknown medical issue at Kruz Meadows on Craig Mountain. Kruz Meadows is a popular recreation location in the Craig Mountain area that is approximately twenty miles south of Lewiston.
Nez Perce County Deputies, along with Lewiston Fire and Life Flight, responded to the call to assist the individual, who was ultimately transported via Life Flight.
Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that to text to 911 is a great resource when calling is unavailable, but urges you to call when you can.
