LEWISTON – On October 7 2023, at about or around 10:27 p.m., the Lewiston Police Department and Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office were advised of a motorcycle vs sedan collision. The collision took place on Snake River Ave in front of CCI. When Deputies arrived on scene, medics had already performed life-saving measures on the motorcycle rider, he was pronounced dead on scene. The driver of the sedan sustained no apparent major injuries.
The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office Crash Team was activated to investigate the crash. Snake River Ave from the Southway Roundabout to just past CCI was closed during this investigation. The next of kin of the motorcycle rider was notified. The crash is still being investigated by the Crash Team.
