LAPWAI – Nez Perce National Historical Park will begin its summer schedule on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The Visitor Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. six days a week Tuesday thru Sunday closed on Monday.
After being closed to the public for six months, the park is happy to announce its re-opening. The summer schedule will include the tipi set-up at 8:30 a.m. and formal ranger programs at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (Tuesday-Sunday, weather dependent).
Collection tours will be offered on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. These tours are limited to the first eight to sign up for that day. All programs and tours are free and open to the public. Nez Perce National Historical Park’s Spalding Visitor Center is located 12 miles east of Lewiston at 39063 U.S. Highway 95. Park admission is free year-round.
