The Warriors wrapped up the East/West Challenge with a 3-1 record to start the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

SEU scored six runs in the first three innings to take control of the contest. The Warriors got on the board in the fifth inning after a walk put Ike George on base. George took second on a fielder’s choice and third on a wild pitch. Pu’ukani De Sa drove in the run with a base hit through the left side.

The Fire added another four runs in the sixth to push the margin to 10-1.

LC State rallied in the ninth for a pair of runs on Signorelli’s third home run in three games. Charlie Updegrave walked before Signorelli drove a pitch over the fence in right center.

De Sa and Brandon Cabrera each tallied two hits and Signorelli drove in two runs.

Jake Green had the longest outing of an LC State pitcher at 2.1 innings. He struck out three and gave up a run. Zachary Ediger fanned a pair in his 1.2 innings without an earned run.
