(MOSCOW,ID) ― Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Physician Dr. Christina Cervieri has joined Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons with a focus on getting patients of all ages and activity levels back to the activities they enjoy.
A Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Cervieri is fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine and has more than two decades of experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities. She comes to Gritman after most recently serving in private practice in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
A team doctor for U.S. Figure Skating, Dr. Cervieri joins the experienced Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons practice of Dr. Marvin Kym and Certified Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner Sunshine Huffman.
Dr. Cervieri specializes in conditions including:

“When I see a patient, I try to customize a plan for them by finding out what it is that’s bothering them and what their goals are, then we create a shared plan to get them to their goals,” she said.
Dr. Cervieri is a graduate of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Yale University. She trained in Orthopedic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, then completed further training in Sports Medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
Her work at Gritman will include continuing to build a robust and comprehensive Sports Medicine program to complement the advanced care provided at Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons. Gritman’s Total Hip Replacement and Total Knee Replacement programs are certified by The Joint Commission.
