(Lewiston, ID) Lewis-Clark State College took a major step forward in the work of athletics in January 2005 when the Activity Center, now P1FCU Activity Center, officially opened. Twenty years later, the facility continues to be one of the best places to compete, spectate, and celebrate throughout the region. LC State Athletics will celebrate the milestone on Saturday during halftime of the women’s basketball game.

Marilyn Stonebraker, one of the driving forces behind the fundraising efforts for the state-of-the-art facility, will be on hand to share some insight into the journey that preceded the venue and how the vision has taken shape. LC State will sell limited edition commemorative t-shirts on both Friday and Saturday at the Warrior Basketball games to mark the event.

The P1FCU Activity Center offers the Lewis-Clark Valley the opportunity to experience Warrior sports in a more exciting and comfortable atmosphere. The facility includes three full-size basketball courts and seating for more than 3,500. The tri-level, 100,000-square-foot facility includes classrooms, dance and exercise studios, study areas, athletic trainers’ facilities, offices, and many other multi-purpose areas. The $15 million P1FCU Activity Center has quickly become a centerpiece of a growing Lewis-Clark State College.

The facility plays host to Warrior Basketball and Volleyball, as well as key events in the LC Valley. The P1FCU Activity Center has hosted LC State, Lewiston High School, and Clarkston High School graduations, Golden Throne, the Avista Holiday Tournament, the Harlem Globetrotters, countless state and district high school tournaments, the Avista NAIA World Series banquet, and numerous others.
