(Lewiston, ID) The Lewiston City Library is partnering with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation and Idaho Commission for Libraries in the “Check out a State Park” program. The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation has made available two state park admission passes for the library to loan.

We have created Park Pass Packs that include a pass in a lightweight backpack with field glasses, relevant pocket guides for getting to know Idaho wildlife, an Idaho road map, and a small first aid kit. Two packs are available. The Park Pass Pack is your’s to check out for up to one week and covers entrance fees to any Idaho State Park when the pass is placed on your dashboard. Free copies of Ida Hikes Idaho are also available while supplies last.

Check out one of our Park Pass Packs at the Lewiston City Library or visit the Winchester Library to borrow a pack so you can “Check out a State Park”!
