LEWISTON – Registration is now open for the 6th annual Lewis-Clark State College Women’s Leadership Conference, which will be held on March 3 at the Williams Conference Center on the college campus.

The event runs 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and this year’s theme is “Healthy Leadership: Women Finding Balance.” The conference will feature workshops and speakers and provide the opportunity to develop and enhance personal and professional leadership skills. The conference, which is open to everyone regardless of gender, will look at leadership through the lenses of emotional, physical, professional, social, and personal health.

Registration for the event is $35 for the general public and $10 for full-time students. Students need to email LC State history professor Amy Canfield at [email protected] to receive a registration promo code prior to registering to receive the discount. Registration is online and the evite registration link can be found on this webpage under “conference registration.”

Among the activities for the day, there will be personal and professional workshops, panel presentations, interactive roundtable discussions and hands-on activities. Discussion topics include conflict management, empowerment through art, time management skills, using core values to lead, leadership in nonprofit industries, leadership in public service, and leadership in volunteer opportunities.

Event organizers are still finalizing the list of speakers, which along with the day’s schedule, will be announced in February. There will be opening, keynote, and closing speakers during the event, which also includes four 50-minute breakout sessions, lunch, and a no-host closing reception.
