Reported Disorderly Female Arrested for Multiple Felony and Misdemeanor Warrants

(Spokane, WA) Spokane Valley Deputies, responding to a reported disorderly person call, learned the suspect had several active warrants for her arrest. The suspect was taken into custody for her warrants and trespassed from the store at the request of employees.

On January 15, 2025, just before 12:10 am, Spokane Valley Deputies responded to the 12300 block of E. Sprague for a disorderly adult female reportedly concealing items and ripping things off the walls. Deputies were requested after a store employee confronted the female and asked her to leave, but she was uncooperative.
Arriving Deputies contacted the female, identified as 35-year-old Vanessa B. Bearshield, and safely detained her. Upon checking her name, Deputies learned Bearshield had several active warrants for her arrest. The warrants were issued for charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, Theft 2nd Degree, Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Driving while Suspended 1st Degree, Negligent Driving 1st Degree, and Physical Control of a Motor Vehicle while Under the Influence.
Bearshield was trespassed from the location per the request of store employees.
Bearshield was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail on her warrants (three felony and three misdemeanor charges).

She remains in custody with a total case bond of $79,500, the cumulative bond total of her warrants set by the issuing judge.
