MOSCOW – The Latah County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of another scam is being circulated throughout the area. According to a social media post on the Latah County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, they have been made aware of a form circulating via postal mail asking for support for Bulletproof Vests.

This is not a form being sent by the Sheriff’s Office nor do these funds go to the Sheriff’s Office. The office wants the public to know that they purchase all of their own vests for deputies. And ask that you do not send money to the senders of this form for the Latah County Sheriff’s Office.

If you have further questions, please contact the Sheriff’s Office directly at 208-882-2216.
