Sergeant Patrick Adler from Idaho County Detention was recognized with the Live Saving Award for outstanding actions

Grangeville, ID- Today April 4, 2023, the Idaho County Commissioners and Idaho County Sheriff Doug Ulmer honored Idaho County Detention Sergeant Patrick Adler for his outstanding actions on November 18, 2022.

Sergeant Adler was awarded a lifesaving plaque in recognition of his exemplary job performance. An inmate attempted to hang himself and Sergeant Adler’s keen observance allowed him to quickly intervene, ultimately saving the inmate’s life.
