Kootenai County, Idaho – On 02/08/2024 Northwest Specialty Hospital, in conjunction with StanCraft, met with Sheriff Robert “Bob” Norris, Office of Emergency Management Director Tiffany Westbrook and several other members of the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office to donate more than $17,000.00 for the purchase of 12 AED’s (Automated External Defibrillator).   These AED’s will be distributed amongst our Patrol staff who will be trained and able to respond and assist fire personnel.

Sheriff Norris said, “This is a great example of partnering with the business community to bring a higher level of service to our community without an additional cost to tax payers”.

The men and women of the Sheriff’s Office want to thank Rick Rasmussen, CEO of Northwest Specialty Hospital, and Rob Bloem, Owner of StanCraft, for their generous contribution to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and their continued commitment to helping ensure the safety and well-being of the community we serve.
