“Some Assembly Required” Exhibition Opens at Third Street Gallery

January 15, 2025

(Moscow, ID) The City of Moscow and the Moscow Arts Commission announce the opening of the Some Assembly Required exhibition, on view at the Third Street Gallery from January 16 to April 4, 2025.

The artist reception from 4-6pm on Thursday, January 16 will coincide with Moscow’s 3rd Thursday Artwalk and will feature refreshments made by Sisters Cookies.

In this exhibition, 45 regional artists worked with identical sets of materials to create an artwork, though, as the show title suggests, there was some assembly required.

The rules were as follows:

• Each artist received an identical set of materials.

• Artists were required to use all materials in the box to create an artwork.

• Artists could introduce other materials as long as they used everything provided in the box.
