State Fugitive Wanted on Multiple Warrants Located Deceased in Athol, Idaho

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho – Yesterday morning, the U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force located fugitive Todd Miller in a residence off Kelso Lake Road in Athol. Miller, 50 years old, is a Moyie Springs, ID, resident with extensive ties in Kootenai County and Bonner County. On February 2, 2024, the Boundary County District Court in Bonners Ferry, Idaho issued a felony arrest warrant for Miller charging him with Forcible Penetration, Sexual Abuse of a Child and Indecent Exposure. Also, on February 14, 2024, the Kootenai County District Court in Coeur d’Alene issued a felony arrest warrant for Miller charging him with Failure to Appear stemming from a drug charge.

The U.S. Marshals task force requested the assistance of the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office after failed attempts to get Miller to exit the residence in Athol. In the afternoon, law enforcement officers discovered Miller deceased inside the residence.

The fugitive investigation was a collaborative effort amongst many law enforcement agencies throughout North Idaho.
