(Murtaugh, ID) Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 8:44 a.m., on February 6, 2025, on US30 and 4750 E, outside of Murtaugh, in Twin Falls County.
A 2018 Chevy Traverse, driven by A 72-year-old male, with a 50-year-old female passenger, from Murtaugh, were traveling westbound on US30. A 2015 Chevy Malibu, driven by an 18-year-old male, from Burley, was traveling eastbound on US30, when it crossed the center line into the westbound lane of travel and collided head-on with the Chevy Traverse.
The driver of the Malibu succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Both occupants of the Traverse were transported via air ambulance to a local hospital where the passenger later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the Malibu was not wearing his seatbelt and both occupants of the Traverse were wearing their seatbelts.
All lanes of US30 at the intersection of 4750 E were blocked for approximately three hours while emergency responders assisted those involved and cleared the area.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
