Two Subjects arrested for stealing vehicle and firearms

On June 15, 2023 at approximately 9:25 am, Orofino Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle from an outside agency that was possibly in the Orofino area. It was reported that this vehicle also contained numerous stolen firearms and the occupants inside were armed and dangerous.

At 9:45 am, Orofino Police Department, with the help of Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office and ISP, were able to apprehend the vehicle and arrest both occupants inside. Emily F Mallory, 19, of Texas, was charged with Grand Theft (Idaho code 18-2403(3)(F). Sergio J Valdez, 23, of Texas, was charged with Aid/Abet (Idaho code 18-204). This investigation is ongoing with further charges pending.
