Update to Seating for State v. Daybell Trial

As a reminder, public seating in the courtroom for the State v. Daybell trial is currently being managed through an online reservation system.

Effective for hearings starting Monday, April 22, the reservation system will no longer be required. Admission starting Monday morning to the trial courtroom in Ada County will be first-come, first-serve for as long as seats remain available. There will be no priority seating and no designated seating for the public or media.

This change only affects physical seating in the courtroom. No change is being made to the ability to watch the trial proceedings through a livestream.

Notice of this change is also posted at adacounty.id.gov/judicial-court/daybell-trial/. Any future changes to courtroom seating or admissions will be posted to that page and distributed via this email list.
