Warrior Baseball Checks in at No. 13 in NAIA Poll

Kansas City, MO. – Despite a challenging two weekends at the plate, LC State Baseball remained in the NAIA’s top 25 at No. 13. The Warriors are 20-10 on the season and 5-7 in Cascade Conference play.

LC State pitching has had strong outings in recent weeks and allowed eight earned runs in the CCC series at UBC. In the opening doubleheader against Oregon Tech last weekend, Warriors pitching struck out 26 batters in 18 innings.

The Warriors lead the conference in slugging (.509) and home runs (43) and have been patient at the plate with a CCC-best 144 walks. On the mound, LC leads the Cascade in saves (8) and runners picked off (12). LC is the top fielding team in the conference with a .971 mark.

Nick Seamons is the CCC leader in home runs (11) and slugging percentage (.727).

With the regular-season home slate complete, the Warriors head to College of Idaho for a four-game Cascade Conference series starting on Friday in Caldwell.
