Warrior Tennis Lands Nine on Scholar-Athlete Lists

KANSAS CITY, Mo.– Five men’s tennis players and four Warrior women earned the distinction of Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, announced by the national office on Monday.

Cade Edwards, Thomas Schaap, Cornelius Sia, Austin Swing and Austin Gomez represented the LC State men, while Maria Eduarda Santos da Silva, Beatriz Lambru, Alexis Maison and Lina Boylan earned the honor for the women.

To be named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and have been at least one year completed at LC State.
