NEW ORLEANS – Warrior Women’s Track and Field enters the weekend rated No. 18 in the NAIA by the USTFCCCA. LC State totaled 117.45 points with four student-athletes ranked in the top 10 in their events.
Senior Kea Stieglitz leads the Warriors with 31.17 in the javelin. Her throw of 42.30m ranks second in the NAIA this season. Sydnie Zywina brought in 25.96 points in the triple jump and 0.72 in the long jump. The Orofino, Idaho, native ranks fourth in the nation in the triple jump (11.97m).
Madigan Kelly holds two A standards this outdoor season to total 30.78 points. She is currently ranked seventh in the 100m hurdles (13.94) and 11th in the 400m hurdles (1:03.22). Jennah Carpenter’s 10th-ranked high jump mark of 1.65m earned 12.85 points.
