Several road closures have been announced this morning by the City of Lewiston in connection to the Boil Water Alert that was caused by a reservoir breakage. A large portion of the city is experiencing destruction of roadways, structures, land, and property. Stay tuned to DailyFly for updates.

Please avoid driving in the area of 2300 to 2500 blocks of:
8th Avenue
9th Avenue
Sunset Drive
11th Avenue
12th Avenue
13th Avenue
14th Avenue
15th Avenue
16th Avenue
These closures are due to water damage and debris caused by a reservoir failure in a portion of the City’s water system that is currently being assessed.
