(Power County, ID) Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 5:31 p.m., at the intersection of E County Road and Michaud Creek Road, west of Pocatello.
A 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by a 59-year-old man from Pocatello, was turning south on Michaud Creek Road from the westbound lanes of E County Road. A 2003 Suzuki VS800 motorcycle, driven by a 41-year-old man with a 43-year-old woman passenger, both from Pocatello, was traveling east on E County Road. The Chevrolet failed to yield to oncoming traffic before colliding with the Suzuki motorcycle.
The driver of the Chevrolet was wearing his seatbelt and was not transported. Both riders of the Suzuki motorcycle were wearing helmets. The two riders were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The roadway was blocked for approximately two hours and fifteen minutes to allow emergency responders to assist those involved.
Pocatello Police Department, Power County EMS, Power County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Hall Police Department, and Fort Hall Fire assisted in this incident.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
