Canyon County – Idaho State Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at approximately 7:40 A.M., on US95 near Anderson Corner Rd, in Canyon County.
A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was driving eastbound on US20/26 towards US95, and a 2021 Toyota Venza was driving southbound on US95. The Chevrolet failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and struck the Toyota. Upon impact, the Toyota crossed into the northbound lane of US95 and struck a 2020 Hyundai Sonata, which was driving northbound on US95.
The Chevrolet was occupied by a 37-year-old male driver and a 27-year-old male passenger, both from Nyssa, Oregon. The Toyota was occupied by a 79-year-old male driver and a 78-year-old female passenger, both from Clarkston, Washington. The Hyundai was driven by a 45-year-old female from Parma, Idaho. All occupants in the vehicles were wearing seatbelts. The driver of the Chevrolet and all occupants of the Toyota and Hyundai were transported to local hospitals by ground ambulance.
Traffic on US95 was blocked for approximately two hours, while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
