Kootenai County, Idaho: In the early afternoon hours of 12/27/2023, Kootenai County Sheriff detectives and patrol deputies as well as members of the Coeur d’ Alene Police Department Community Action Team (CAT) responded to the 16000 block of north Trails End Road on a tip for possible stolen property. Deputies arrived at the residence and were given verbal consent to search the property, by the property owner, which led to the discovery of illegal narcotics, 2 wanted fugitives, drug use and stolen property.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the property. Upon execution of the warrant, a total of approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine, approximately one pound of marijuana, .380 handgun,9MM Handgun, ammunition, a stolen construction trailer and multiple pieces of paraphernalia were seized from the property.
Jon D. Houser a 64 year-old-male from Rathdrum, Idaho was charged via complaint request for Unlawful possession of a firearm, Possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of controlled substance (Marijuana greater than 3 oz).
Tamara J. Salazar a 64 year-old-female from Rathdrum, Idaho was arrested for possession of controlled substance (Methamphetamine).
Kerry A. Howell a 58 year-old-male from Rathdrum, Idaho was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Taylor L. Johnson a 25 year-old-female from Rathdrum, Idaho was arrested for her felony warrant of detention.
Brandon A. Miles was arrested for his felony warrant of Parole violation.
Steven E. Moser a 53 year-old-male from Rathdrum, Idaho was charged via complaint request for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Richard W. Landsiedel a 33 year-old-male from Rathdrum, Idaho was arrested for resisting and obstruction and possession of marijuana.
