CLARKSTON, WA – The Friends of the Asotin County Library are raising funds through a Library Giving
Day campaign. This one-day fundraising event will occur on Wednesday, April 3, and will encourage
patrons and library lovers to make a gift to the Friends of the Asotin County Library.
This year the Friends are raising money to help fund local custom-made cabinetry for collection and
programs displays at the Downtown Library, and an updated office space for the new Youth Services
Librarian.
Activities are planned throughout the day at the both the Downtown Library at 417 Sycamore St and
Heights Branch at 2036 4th Ave. Both locations are in Clarkston.
Nelly Broadcasting will be live at the Downtown Library at 10:00am and 2:00pm.
• 10:00am – 1:00pm Job & Career Catalyst Center drop-in
• 10:00am – 2:00pm Digital Navigator Tech Help; by appointment then first come, first served
• 10:30am Toddler Time at Heights Branch
• 11:00am New Website Tour at Downtown Library in Community Room
• Create projects for all ages in the Teen Space
All programs and services are free and open to the public.
This campaign reminds us that libraries, small and large, serve as a cornerstone for our communities.
Beyond well-loved books, Asotin County Library offers innovative programs that spark curiosity and
promotes lifelong learning.
