Latah Farmers Market celebrates its fourth season at the Troy Park

TROY, Idaho— The Latah Farmers Market is delighted to launch its fourth season in the Troy  City Park on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM with an outstanding lineup of Latah County vendors selling locally-grown produce, plant starts, meat, eggs, dairy, poultry, beverages, jewelry, décor, gifts, and more.

The market will take place rain or shine every Saturday through October. The Latah Farmers Market welcomes everyone, is ADA accessible, pet- and family-friendly, and has convenient parking with easy access.

Now in its fourth season as an independently organized and operated local market, The Latah  Farmers Market has become known in the community as the “friendly farmers market,” as its visitors are consistently welcomed with smiling faces, fresh food, local produce and live entertainment. Since all of the vendors in attendance are from Latah County and the surrounding community, every dollar spent at the Latah Farmers Market directly benefits the local economy.

The Latah Farmers Market is still accepting new vendor applications, and will continue to do so all season long. It offers flexible commitment levels in addition to its low booth fees to accommodate the needs of small farms, youth entrepreneurs, and seasonal producers. Anyone interested in becoming a vendor is invited to attend the vendor orientation meeting on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at the Troy Park Gazebo from 6:00 to 8:00 PM to learn more about what makes the Latah Farmers Market a great place to set up shop.

The Latah Farmers Market was established in 2021 by Latah County producers to ensure access to locally-grown food and resources that directly serve the community, in an effort to boost the local economy and lessen dependence on foreign supply chains. Since that time, the Latah Farmers Market has helped more than 150 area small businesses bring their products to market. It continues to be one of the only privately-run farmers markets in the region, and is organized and operated entirely by volunteer producers. The Latah Farmers Market is wholly self-supporting and receives no public funds or grant money.

The Latah Farmers Market takes place each Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the beautiful Troy City Park right off Highway 8 in Troy, ID. The season starts June 1, 2024 and ends October 5, 2024.

Additional information about the Latah Farmers Market is available on the website www.latahfarmersmarket.com.
