(Lewiston, ID) At approximately 10:39 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, the Lewiston Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 400 block of Park Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 36-year-old female who was deceased at the scene. A 38-year-old male was also located with life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Next of kin have been notified.
Street access to Park Avenue remains closed as officers continue their investigation. Preliminary findings indicate this was an isolated incident, and there is no active threat to public safety.
