(Hayden, ID) The Northern Lakes Fire District has announced that for the first time in department history, an NLFD station is being fully staffed by an all-female crew.
- Engineer/Paramedic Amanda Tams – Joined NLFD in February 2013
- Firefighter/Paramedic Shay Carlock – Joined NLFD in June 2020
- Cadet Cadence Wurster – Training to be part of the next generation of firefighters
In their announcement post, they shared the following heartfelt statement. “This is a proud moment for our department and a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our firefighters. Please join us in congratulating these outstanding team members as they make Northern Lakes history”.
