Avista Customers in Elk City and Grangeville to Experience a Planned Power Outage

ELK CITY and GRANGEVILLE – Approximately 389 Avista electric customers in Elk City and Grangeville will experience a planned power outage on Friday, Oct 7. The planned outage will occur at 8 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Impacted customers will be notified.

During this time, Avista will be upgrading equipment in the area. The planned work will increase reliability and reduce future outages. Traffic delays on Highway 14 near Crooked River Road can be expected. No road closures are expected during this time.
