(LEWISTON, ID) – The Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History will hold an Artist Talk with Lewiston High School alumnus Jason Sievers. The talk will take place on Friday, Oct. 4, from 7-8 p.m. at the center.
The, now, Boise resident will be speaking about his exhibit titled “Portals” that will continue to be on display at the center until Nov. 16. The talk, coinciding with Beautiful Downtown Lewiston’s ArtWalk, is free and open to the public.
Sievers is a graphic designer, animator, and photographer. The artist has historically worked with the City of Boise Art in Transit program, the Boise Art Museum, and local musicians.
“It still feels like a bit of magic to reveal the kaleidoscopic images that each vessel is hiding,” Seivers said. “I hope these portals will take you to a unique feeling or memory or will inspire you to look at the world from a different perspective.”
Funding for the event has been provided in part by the Idaho Commission on the Arts.
