Join us Saturday, February 18th at the Spalding site between 8am-1pm to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count. The Great Backyard Bird Count is a national effort to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations to help researchers better understand how birds are doing and how to protect them and their habitat. We’ll be identifying and counting birds in the Spalding picnic area – come on out for 15 minutes or as long as your day allows. Meet in the Spalding picnic area parking lot anytime between 8am-1pm. All ages welcome and no prior experience needed!

Nez Perce National Historical Park’s Spalding Visitor Center is located 12 miles east of Lewiston at 39063 U.S. Highway 95.  Park admission is free year-round. For more information, please contact Nez Perce National Historical Park at 208-843-7001, or visit www.nps.gov/nepe or www.facebook.com/NezPerceNationalHistoricalPark
