Eight Members of Valley Karate School Tournament Club Earned 11 Gold Medals and More

Eight team members of Valley Karate School Tournament Club and their Sensei Steven Smith traveled 2,800 miles from Lewiston, ID to Groton, CT to compete at the National American Championships (NAC). This past weekend on October 6th and 7th, the students competed and earned 11 Gold Metals, 11 Silver Metals, and 5 Bronze Metals. Kiyoshi Nishime, world renouned weapons expert, was also in attendance teaching a weapons seminar.

The Valley Karate School Tournament club consists of students ranging from ages 5-67, who practice Goju-Ryu Karate at Valley Karate School in Lewiston, ID. After training and attending many tournaments throughout the year, the NAC is the grand finale for the LC Valley tournament team.
