LEWISTON – It is with great excitement we announce the Idaho Animal Rescue Network (IARN) was nominated and selected to receive the “spirit of Idaho” award by US Senator Mike Crapo. On October 27, 2022, at 1:00 pm, Senator Crapo will be presenting the IARN with this award. The ceremony is being held at Fur Family
Cinema (3323 10th Street, Lewiston) and the public is welcome to attend the ceremony.

“The ldaho Animal Rescue Network is a community organization. lt takes many people to make it work, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the LC Valley,” Director Jenna Redheart said. “The Great Danes case is a great example of teamwork. The Nez Perce County Sheriffs Office, Lewiston Police Department, Lewiston Fire Department, Fur Family Cinema, Southway Animal Clinic, Riverview Animal Clinic, Lewis Clark Animal Shelter, multiple other animal rescues and community volunteers worked together and made this case a success. We received donations from local community members and from around the nation. Because of the community, the Great Danes will have a better life.”
