Idaho Behavioral Health Council Seeks Input on Strategic Plan Initiatives

August 20, 2024

The Idaho Behavioral Health Council is requesting public input on its next strategic action plan. Anyone interested in commenting can write the Council directly or can attend one of several planned forums this month.

Information on possible recommendations for the new plan is available on the Council’s website.

The Council is charged with bringing together all three branches of state government, local governments, and community partners. Working together, this group develops a strategic plan to ensure an effective, efficient, and recovery-oriented behavioral healthcare system for Idaho. The Council’s first strategic plan resulted in successful implementation of each of its strategic priorities.

The Advisory Board for the Idaho Behavioral Health Council has drafted 51 recommendations to consider for the 2024-2028 strategic plan. The Council will select a limited number of these recommendations to include in that strategic action plan at its meeting on Sept. 13, 2024.
