Idaho Secretary of State’s Office to Conduct Post-Election Audit

(Boise, Idaho) – The Idaho Secretary of State’s Office will be conducting a post-election audit draw for the May 21st Idaho Primary Election today in the Idaho State Capitol Building, Room WW17.

Idaho Statute provides that the Secretary shall conduct a post-election audit to ensure the accuracy of the election tabulation for even-year primary and general elections. The Idaho counties and precincts selected for a post-election audit are drawn at random. The public and the media may attend in person or view the process by livestream.

When: May 28, 2024 from 4-5 p.m.
Where: Idaho Capitol, Room WW17, 700 W Jefferson, Boise, Idaho

As members of the State Board of Canvassers, Idaho Controller Brandon Woolf and Treasurer Julie Ellsworth, along with Secretary Phil McGrane, will participate. The list of precincts drawn will be posted on VoteIdaho.gov immediately following the audit.
