On October 2, 2023, the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office concluded an investigation with an arrest. On July 7, 2023, an Idaho County Deputy took a report of an inappropriate relationship occurring between a teacher and a former student at Clearwater Valley High School. The case was then referred on to the detective division for further investigation. Kammeron Mangun, age 24, of Kooskia, Idaho was arrested on an Idaho County warrant for felony attempted sexual exploitation of a child and misdemeanor disseminating material harmful to minors. The bond on the warrant was set at $250,000.00.
