Kari Kens named the Overall Educational Support Personnel Winner!

Lewiston, ID- Released by the Lewiston Independent School District

Congratulations to Kari Kerns, registrar at Lewiston High School, who was named the Overall Educational Support Personnel winner!

Here are some excerpts from the nominations for Kari:

-Kari is more often than not, seen working nights and weekends, not because she is asked to, but because she goes above and beyond the scope of her duties.

-Kari is a skilled professional and a role model for kindness and compassion.

-Not only does Kari manage 1,400 student hard files, she’s constantly working with colleges to ensure senior transcripts are being sent in a timely manner, working with families and outside schools of students moving to this area (which hit unprecedented numbers this year), managing quarter, semester, and final grades, as well as answering endless questions from students and staff.

-I first became familiar with Kari when she worked in the library. Back then, we didn’t have a lot of interaction but when I would utilize the library, I was always so appreciative of her kind and accommodating demeanor. I was beyond excited when she applied for the position of Registrar within our counseling center and I knew she would be a fabulous fit with our department.

-As soon as this nomination form was released I immediately knew who I was wanting to nominate. Kari Kerns the incredible registrar that does it all!!!

Congratulations Kari Kerns!
