Kansas City, Mo. – (Release from Lewis-Clark State College Athletics) LC State Men’s Golf jumped back into the NAIA’s top 25 in the latest edition of the coaches’ poll released on Friday. The Warriors checked in at No. 16 and passed conference foe UBC who sits at No. 19.
The Warriors earned a big win at the RMC Intercollegiate and finished ahead of UBC, No. 18 Victoria (B.C.), No. 15 The Master’s (Calif.) and No. 13 Rocky Mountain (Mont.). LC State bested UBC, who finished second, by 11 strokes at 880. Jorgen Lie Viken led the group with a fourth-place finish after shooting 2-under for the three rounds.
Viken leads LC State in the individual Golfstat ranking at No. 24. Freshman Bryden Brown is No. 45 after the first tournament of his career and Devon Caruso is ranked No. 80.
