LC State Women’s Basketball Ranked No. 7 for Third Straight Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo.– Lewis-Clark State Women’s Basketball remained locked in at No. 7 in the NAIA rankings for the third straight poll, released by the national office on Wednesday.

 

The Warriors have won nine straight, including the four games since the previous poll, and hold sole possession of the top spot in the Cascade Conference with a 13-1 CCC record. LC is 17-2 overall.

 

LC State hosts College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon this weekend in the P1FCU Activity Center to continue the second half of conference play. The Warriors lead the CCC in scoring offense (77.6), field goal percentage (.466), 3-point field goal percentage (.349), assists (18.2), and steals (11.7).

 

On the national scale, LC State is fourth in the NAIA in assists per game and seventh in field goal percentage.

 

Oregon Tech fell two spots to No. 22 and Southern Oregon remained No. 24 to round out the three CCC teams in the rankings.

The Warriors are back in the P1FCU Activity Center on Feb. 2 to take on in-state rival College of Idaho.
