Men’s Tennis Falls to Idaho State

Randy Isbelle | LC State Sports Information Intern

LEWISTON – The Lewis-Clark State Men’s Tennis team took its second loss to a NCAA Division I opponent in as many days with a 7-0 defeat to Idaho State at the LCSC Tennis Center on Saturday.
The loss dropped the Warrior record to 7-6 on the season.
“I thought Idaho State, which is a very deep team, respected LCSC in the sense that they did not take the match for granted,” assistant coach Tony Anegon said. “The matches this weekend will only help the team going forward in the season.”
Rafael Bonnet de Larbogne and Daniel Tevez pushed their No. 3 doubles contest to a tiebreaker. Ege Cankus and Patrick Kristensen earned the victory 7-6 (3).
Bonnet de Larbogne pushed his No. 3 singles opening set to nine games, but lost to Andreas Kramer 6-3, 6-1. Tevez reached a tenth game in his first set in No. 6 singles en route to a 6-4, 6-1 loss.
