Moscow Pathways Commission Invites the Public to the Second Annual Pedestrian Tour

Release from City of Moscow

MOSCOW – Do you and your family enjoy leisurely evening walks? If so, you’re in luck! The Moscow Pathways Commission is thrilled to announce the return of the Second Annual Pedestrian Tour, set to take place on September 19th, commencing at 5:00 p.m. at the Ghormley Park picnic shelter, conveniently located at 400 Home Street.

This pedestrian tour promises an enriching experience while promoting the local pathway system, covering an approximate distance of 0.85 miles. Participants will have the opportunity to discover key attractions, including the recently completed educational kids’ bike demonstration area adjacent to West Park Elementary and a glimpse into the exciting future plans for a pathway across Ghormley field.

In partnership with Safe Routes to School – University of Idaho, children will have access to bikes and helmets for a delightful ride in the educational kids’ bike demonstration area. Families are encouraged to bring their own bicycles as well to make the most of this engaging event.

Following the tour, we invite all attendees to join us for light refreshments at the Ghormley Park picnic shelter, providing a perfect opportunity for community members to connect and share their experiences.
