National Cat Day

Many cat owners recognize Cat Saturdays or “Caturdays” on a weekly basis, but October 29 is National Cat Day. It’s the purrfect day to show the special felines in your lives some extra love, adopt a new one (if you’re in a situation to do so), or spay/neuter.

You can learn more about the history of National Cat Day or ways to celebrate it at National Calendar Day.

The ASPCA estimates there are more than 3.2 million cats in shelters across the US.
