Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Guy Klein Joins Gritman System

MOSCOW, ID― Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Guy Klein, a specialist in hip and knee replacement, has joined the Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons clinic in Moscow.

Dr. Klein specializes in the minimally invasive anterior approach for hip replacement and is fellowship-trained in both hip and knee replacement surgery. He combines the use of advanced technology and robotics with the experience that comes from performing thousands of hip and knee replacements in service of specialized care for his patients. In addition to total hip and total knee replacement, Dr. Klein is fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma – the specialized treatment of broken bones.

He comes to Gritman from western Washington and is eager to use his expertise to get patients back to their lives with less pain and more mobility. The anterior approach for hip replacement, in which the incision is made on the front of the thigh instead of the side – has been shown to limit muscle damage and accelerate recovery.

“I aim to treat patients with the same kindness and state-of-the-art techniques that I would want for myself and for my family,” he said.

Dr. Klein joins the experienced Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons practice of Dr. Marvin Kym and Sunshine Huffman, ONP-C, a team with decades of combined experience helping patients across the region with a wide range of orthopedic conditions.

Part of Gritman’s hospital and clinic network, Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons delivers on our commitment to keep more patients close to home for both healing and recovery. The advanced practice integrates primary carediagnostic imaginginterventional painphysical therapy and education classes into each patient’s care plan.

Gritman Orthopedic Surgeons is located at 2301 W. A St., in Moscow. Referrals and appointments are accepted. Learn more by visiting gritman.org/orthopedic or by calling 208-883-1135.
