Pat Schmidt, of Lewiston High School is retiring at end of school year

Lewiston, ID- Lewiston Independent School District announced that Pat Schmidt, machining instructor at Lewiston High School, is retiring at the end of the current school year.

Mr. Schmidt has worked for the District for twenty-eight years, starting in 1995.

Pat went into teaching after mentoring apprentices in the machining field. He enjoyed instructing and helping others learn. After teaching on the Olympic Peninsula and in Moscow, Mr. Schmidt joined the LHS family and has been there for a long and wonderful career.

Pat says he is going to miss teaching, but is looking forward to fishing, maintaining his property, and working on his motorcycle.

Lewiston Indep. School District also thanked Mr. Schmidt for all his years of dedication to the students and school district.
