The Board of Directors for the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation–a non-profit charity–is comprised of nineteen volunteers. During their three-year term, Directors provide management and stewardship over philanthropic gifts made to Pullman Regional Hospital, which benefit Pullman Regional’s patients and contribute to the overall health of the region.

Pete Chittenden is the Managing Owner and Chief Operating Officer of DABCO Property Management in Pullman. He joined DABCO in 2019 with 17 years of prior experience in property management. Pete’s industry honors include winning the AHMA Managing Agent of the Year Award in 2012 and 2013. His community service roles include serving as the Vice President of the United Way of Whitman County, the Government Affairs Board with the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, and volunteering with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Pete and his wife, Cindy, enjoy spending time with their son hiking in the mountains, camping, and attending WSU games with their daughter as she continues her education as a second-generation Coug.

Over the past decade, Wayne Druffel and the Druffel family have been strong philanthropic partners, advocates and volunteers for Pullman Regional Hospital. Wayne co-chaired The Next Era of Excellence fundraising campaign, which raised more than $7.5 million for Pullman Regional Hospital, as well as over $1 million for the COVID-19 Emergency Fund.

The Druffels established The Norm & Jessie Druffel Family Endowment in 2015, which helps support the hospital’s Orthopedic Center of Excellence and the Regional High School Athletic Training Program. Wayne, his brothers, and son Kurt, own Norm Druffel & Sons, one of the largest wheat and grain producers in Whitman County. Wayne is also an accomplished bowler, being inducted into the Washington State Bowling Congress’ Hall of Fame in 2005, and owner of Zeppoz Bowling, Restaurant, Sports Bar and Casino.

Natalie Fisher is the Human Resources and Marketing Manager at Jonny Fisher, DDS. The Fishers are strong supporters of the community and Pullman Regional Hospital, donating Save-a-Tooth Kits for high school athletes as part of the Regional High School Athletic Training Program and being on call for emergency dental services during sporting events. The Fishers moved to Pullman in 2010 and have grown their dental practice since – acquiring a second location in Kendrick, Idaho, in 2018 and moving into a new, state-of-the-art facility on Pullman’s Bishop Blvd the same year. Natalie is also active in Pullman School District PTOs and the Pullman Kiwanis. Natalie and her husband, Dr. Jonny Fisher, enjoy raising their family, which includes four girls, two boys and a dog named Toby, on the Palouse.

About the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation

The Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Directors is governed by volunteers, committed to continuing the hospital’s excellence in care and service. The Foundation Board is led by President Karlene Beaumont and Treasurer Adrian Green. Directors are eligible for two consecutive three-year terms.

The Foundation supports Pullman Regional Hospital’s annual priority projects, as well as long-term programs including the Family Medicine Residency Program, a partnership with WSU’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and the Regional High School Athletic Training Program, a partnership with local high schools. Unlike many charities, the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation does not charge an administrative fee, which means 100% of donations support projects and programs.
